Heckley Cottage in Alnwick was the perfect getaway for me. the hosts, Hazel and Paul, were incredibly welcoming and left a lovely 'welcome' card and basket of goodies for us. the cottage itself was cozy and warm, truly a home away from home. the property also had a beautiful garden with stunning views. We enjoyed exploring the area on our bikes, as cycling was a popular activity nearby. the free WiFi throughout the cottage was a nice touch, allowing us to stay connected. Overall, Heckley Cottage was a fantastic place to stay, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the Alnwick area.
